Four Weeks to Go: Welcome Week 2008

You are among the privileged students to experience Welcome Week 2008!  Gain an edge in starting college – Highlight this date on your calendar:  Wednesday, August 27.

What can you expect during Welcome Week?
- Make friends with other members of the Class of 2012;
- Learn what it means to be a Golden Gopher;
- Navigate campus and the Twin Cities community;
- Discover tools and resources that will help you to succeed;  
- Connect with student leaders, faculty, administrators, staff & advisers!

The second day of Welcome Week is College Day!
The College of Liberal Arts invites you to celebrate the advantages and unique opportunities that a “CLA” education provides:
- Enjoy diverse performances by talented CLA faculty, students & alums;
- Participate in informational speeches and educational discussions; 
- Talk with peers to actively think about your dreams and goals.
