There is some confusion about whether Biol 3407 is a writing intensive course. The course  is not  currently listed as such on either Onestop or the APAS degree audit system. However, the spring semester class is writing intensive but the fall version of the class is not.

Biol 3407 is taught by different faculty fall and spring.  In the fall,  the faculty do not require course  work that meets the writing intensive standard. However the spring course does follow  the guidelines for writing intensive.

The University's Central Administration will make APAS exceptions by adding Biol 3407 as writing intensive for all students who registered for the class in spring terms 2005 and 2006 only. These updates will be made shortly and you do not need to take any action.

Please consult your adviser if you have questions.
