Chad was born in the capital city of Kansas, otherwise known as Topeka if you should ever happen to visit.  He attended the University of Kansas where he revived a BS in Middle/Secondary Education - General Science, but decided he enjoyed working with college students and went on to receive a Master's degree in Higher Education.

Chad is what some may call a computer fanatic, and enjoys building and repairing computers in his spare time.  He is also a heavy gamer and enjoys board games, computer games and card games.  If it has dice or cards, Chad has probably played it and enjoys it as well.  Chad is also extremely excited to be at the University of Minnesota after working here for several years and then returning from the Chicago area to be back in the Twin Cities.  He also loves to read, when he has the time to sit back and catch up.  Chad's favorite book of all time is 'The Lord of the Flies' by William Golding, and although many may not admit it, Chad really enjoyed the Harry Potter series.  In addition, if you ever want to talk movies, then he will probably be very ecstatic to talk just about anything film related.
